New Moon Gong Meditation

  • Education Building of Emory Presbyterian Church 1886 North Decatur Road Atlanta, GA, 30307 United States (map)

Marking the beginning of a moon phase, new moon energy is often nurturing and restful as it asks us to set our intentions for the coming 28 days.

Working with this energy, we see that all things are possible.

Add in a gong and boom! The believe of possibility becomes a reality as the sound removes energetic barriers to embodiment of your soul’s purpose.

Gong meditations also allow for deep relaxation and can help with sleep. Because of the way the gongs help bring the brain waves into a meditative pattern, the mind stuff (thoughts) is frequently released and areas of the body holding tension may feel their own releases.

During a new moon gong meditation, because it is an nurturing energy, you tend to float in a voidlike state which is profound and leads to deep internal work.

Everyone responds to sound differently and no two gongs meditations are alike because I energetically read the room, intuitively picking up what you need.

This group is capped at 8, a number of great significance for transformative self-growth.

Note: If you are in the 1st trimester or have a pacemaker that may be sensitive to sound please consult with your doctor before attending.
